The Adventure is the longest sit on top from Hobie Kayaks featuring great straight-line tracking and excellent forward speed. It retains the stability and versatility of a sit on top while making great use of a hull with similar appearance and design to a traditional sit-in touring kayak. As its name suggests the Hobie Adventure is ideal for day touring and extended trips, with good storage capabilities and carrying capacity and fully equipped with Hobie's standard outfittings included comfortable seat, split paddle, fitted rudder, dry bag and of course the Hobie Mirage pedal system.
The Hobie Mirage drive consists of two adjustable foot pedals connected to the two drive fins. The fins act like a penguin's flippers and have a 180degree range of motion making them a very efficient way to move through the water.
