The Enigma Fishing Pro 10 has a classic tri-form hull which provides confidence inspiring stability and great straight line tracking. The widest point of the hull is right where the paddler sits and it gradually narrows from there towards the pointed bow providing a slick profile, which cuts through the water efficently. The bow is designed with a slight upsweep and flare which enables it to ride over the kind of moderately choppy waters you might find on larger lakes or while exploring the coast on gentle to moderate days.
The Pro 10 is packed with features such as the conveniently located centre storage console which is designed to carry your key tackle items right where you can easily reach them when needed. The tackle console lid is set up ready to fit additional accessories such as a fish finder or rod holders. There are two flush mounted rod holders located either side just behind the seat. If you want to carry additional fishing kit in a crate or larger tackle bag the rear tankwell comes with fitted bungee cords and is an idea storage area. A handy paddle park enables you to stow your paddle leaving both hands free while you are fishing. There is also a front storage hatch which is ideal for storing a trolley or even a BBQ kit so you can take a break on a beach to enjoy some of your catch while it is super fresh.
The overstern rudder system has toe-control footrests and makes it easier to control the kayak in windy conditions or when crossing a current. Setting the rudder to account for these means you can paddle with equal power on both strokes to maintain good speed. This is much better than having to do a fair bit of one sided paddling which can be very tiring and slow your progress too. The Enigma Fishing Pro 10 is one of the best value ten footers available for general fishing in calm to modearate conditions such as sheltered coasts, estuaries, lakes and canals.
